I bought an ECB on a whim about a month ago and if i had not found this site and all the great information. I am sure it would just be sitting behind the shed.

Welcome to SMF, Joe! As you've already discovered, this is a great place for learning how to do Q. So what sorts of things have you already done?

Make yourself at home. You're part of the family now. [IMG]

Extending another welcome to the SMF. You have already received some good advice and encouragement to work through the eCourse. There is a lot of information buried in the files here. Just take some time and explore some of the threads. You will find just about every kind of meat and poultry you can imagine. If you don't find what you are looking for, just ask. There will be someone to help you in no time.

    Once again, welcome. enjoy!!

Welcome to the SMF, best smokin' site this side of the moon. Break out that ECB and get some smoke signals out to your friends. Feel free to ask questions, we are a friendly group with a lot of combined smokes and Q's!

3rd Ribs <-- ate them but not what i hoped for.
4th Found SMF <-- Great find!!
5th made some mods. Firepan mostly. Legs, vent, grate.. Better but I have some ideas to make one from scratch Thursday morning
6th Pork shoulder <-- best pulled pork I have ever made. (now if i can just learn to make my own sauce. [IMG]
7th (tonight) smoked my first fatty. <-- LOVED IT!!!! My son and I almost at all 2#'s. And it was just going to be for our snack tonight.

Thats about all I have done. I still want to add a couple of thermometers at the rack levels.... Maybe this weekend.
