Hello all,
My name is Bryan and I'm new to the site, and I'm looking forward to getting to know you all, and hopefully learn some new stuff to help improve my smoked food!
My dad was big into smoking and made some great food! He taught me some stuff when I was a little kid but now I want to have a go at it myself.
Right now I'm using a Brinkmann Electric Dome Smoker. I want to upgrade soon, but I want to show a little more promise for a tasty finished product before I make a hefty investment! Haha
So far I've brined & smoked a ton of trout and they always come out great with an apple and alder mix. And I haven't really done anything else so tonight I tried ribs. I think I messed up so I'll post another thread about that...
Other than that I can't wait to try sausage with a better smoker since mine cannot adjust temps. And I just look forward to talking with others who enjoy one of my favorite hobbies!
