Hello, Just joined but I've been lurking for a while, getting recipies and tips. Learned how to make a "fattie" from this site. They come out great. Just recieved a Masterbuilt Smoker for my B'day. Tried my first real smoke today. Pork butt, 4.5lbs at 225D. Darn thing has been on 10 hrs and still not to 200. I foiled at 180 which took 8 hrs. I'm guess my thermostat is reading a little low. Like I said I'm new to smoking but have been grilling for a while. Thanks in advance for all the advice. Great site!
