Been smoking meat for about 10 yrs maybe long but didn't have my first smoker till then. Started with a propane one my dad got me for Christmas loved it but temp was hard to control when it got cold or breezy. Few years ago me and my buddy bout two electric masterbuitls for makin deer sticks Bologna and salami. Attempted a deer ham last year and it didn't turn out bad at all. With our side business of cutting up deer and making specialty stuff I am in th process of getting a stainless commercial fridge (free!) and converting that into our new smoker. Been reading a lot of others builds and can't wait to get it to the farm and start on it.

I love cooking on the bbq every chance I get and won't pass up the chance to cook on open fire either

Can't wait to learn new tricks of the trades!
