Hi, im 34 years from Norway. bought my weber charcoal a year ago, switching from gas. Found out im am going to make a small smoker during this winter, and that is how i ended up here:)

Love slow and long cooking during the summer months, and all variations of ribs and other food witch includes self shot animals, and self made sauses/rubs

Have no idea how to build a smoker, but figure i will find it out on this forum. Got a welder, hot water tanks and most of the supplies in reach at work, so hopefully this will be fun.

  7. God dag!  It is good to see a real BBQ smoker from Norway.  I lived just outside Oslo for a few years, and hauled my offset wood box smoker all the way there to show my new friends what real BBQ (as opposed to grilling) was all about.  I had to spend some time with a local butcher and meat cutting diagrams of cows and pigs to get the cuts I wanted (briskets and baby back ribs).  He was Danish and when we finally connected on what brisket cut I wanted, his comment was: "Oh yes, nobody in Norway buys that cut - it is very tough.  We cook it in Denmark, but have to cook it a long time to make it tender."

    lykke til deg
