Hows it's going my name is Steven. From Tomball, Tx.. Went to Texas A&M and moved back and got a house and all that. I have decided I want to get into competition cooking. I am a newbie so here to learn all I can.  For about 5 years I worked for Texas Pit Crafters in pinehurst building everything from pits and gas grills to complete outdoor kitchens. I have always had the passion just never the time to learn and focus on cooking.

I am currently cooking on a Char-Griller Akorn (knockoff green egg).. its great I love it for the price and it keeps a fire at a steady temp with ease. I have also been looking into a bigger offset so I can do more meat at one time.

I look forward to gaining some good knowledge here.
