I'm thinking about a sweeter less salty recipe. I recently did one with London broil.....used soy sauce, Worcestershire, cider vinegar, black pepper and a Tsp. of tabasco.
Anyone got any good recipes. I saw something about apple flavored? Any more suggestions for cuts of meat? Bottom round, eye round?
Thanks!

I use the Hi Mountain seasonings for my jerky . I use top round (which I think is the same as london broil it's just sliced thinner , but don't hold me to that ) sliced against the grain . If you have Hi Mountain "kits" near you you might try their sweet and spicy or the mandarin teriyaki blend . I used to make my own recipes but once I tried the hi mountain stuff that's all I've used . I haven't had the 2 I mentioned but I've had 3 or 4 of them . I don't know if I would buy it if I had to pay for shipping though . If that's your only option maybe you know some one else that might want some and you could all split the shipping .

The term "London Broil" is more a cooking method than a cut of meat; it is taking a less tender cut, sliced thick, broiling it medium rare, then slicing thin across the grain for maximum tenderness that a particular cut can provide. Sirloin Tip, Top Round, Bottom Round, Arm Shoulder Clod, Rump, Underblade Chuck are all contenders; most ads promote these as "Top Round for London Broil" or "Shoulder Chuck for London Broil" etc.
