My best chicken

Well I just cooked the best chicken ever on my GSOM. I when all Myron on it and used some green peach wood that I have, a dry rub and some EVOO. We do not eat the skin so I did not care to much if it was crispy or not but the flavor was amazing. I have corrupted my 10 year old daughter, she cut into her chicken and said look at the smoke ring dad (my angel). Just wanted to share my success.

What was your temp & how long did you smoke it?

Caveman I cooked it at 275 for about 3 hours, took it to 170 in the thigh and then foiled it for 30 minutes.

I don't eat the skin either so no need to worry about it being crisp, the meat is what's important.
Your Daughter knows more than lots of folks about Q it seems, lots of people would ask "why is my chicken raw on the outside?"

Your daughter is learning early! your story reminds me of my daughter...we were at my brothers about three yrs ago and my youngest daughter (then 9) came by while chasing a ball where my brother was watching me cook burgers and steaks on his new grill...she never slowed down much, but in passing said "hey daddy...nice grill marks!"... my brother was in awe! got to love them little ones!!!
