SweetBay here in Florida has whole chickens buy 1 get 1 free, sale ends tomorrow. So I picked up a couple and did the beer can thing since they always turn out good. Going tomorrow to grab 2 more and put in the freezer. Brined with Slaughterhouse Poultry Brine over night, (14 hours) brushed with olive oil, rubbed Kick N Chicken on 1, and Sazon Tropical on the other. Smoked at 250*- 260* for 3 hours 20 mins. with apple chips, breast temp was at 170*. Thigh 175* Skin was a little soft but the meat was very juicy and tastes great.
