MES mod to hang rings help

Hey everyone. Just bought a MES 40". We just moved and my big homemade job wont fit. Can anyone give me any advice for modding a top grate or any ideas to hang rings and 3 pound sticks? The store-bought job doesnt do it for me. I dont want to mod the interior of the smoker, hopefully just a rack to maximize hanging as much as possible. Thanks for any help.

I cut the hooks off for more room to hang stuff.... before I cut off the hooks......
