Ok Here is the stuff I have and I decided to make Black bean chipotle chili and meatballs. I know there is some pork involved here but it is mostly beef. I threw it all together minus the brats with some eggs, milk soaked bread crumbs, diced jalapeno's and sweet onion, salt, pepper, cumin, coriander, Worchester, and sriracha

Made the meatballs and some other stuff of course.

Firing up the Weber Performer as I post this. More later.

For the chilli I didn't have time to go from scratch so I used Goya Black bean soup, two cans, A big can of Nalleys Hot and A can of Rotel plus a can of sweet corn. Then I added home made smoked beef stock from my last chucky, 4 chipoltes chopped up and a can of PBR.  All in the crockpot heating up. I will put as many meatballs as will fit when they are done smoked which will be two hours or so. ABT's for the cook.

  12. Damn! That's going to be some tasty stuff! I haven't made chili since early fall. Seems like it's a good time to make a batch.

I really did it now. Italians and Texans are picketing outside the house. I would recommend this for some good old playoff football food! I added another can of PBR to the chili and one for the chef too. GO SEAHAWKS!

I figure another hour or 2 in the crockpot on low should marry up the flavors nicely. Money shot next.

I have to tell ya, It was pretty awesome. The smoked meatballs added smoke flavor to the chili but still kept their unique flavor as well. I will do this again. I didn't do a plated picture but I had it over texas toast with cheddar, red onion and sour cream. It was really good and the meatball recipe was spot on. I will be using milk soaked breadcrumbs in all my meatballs and meatloaf from now on. There is a lot leftover for future meals in the freezer.

[IMG]   Maybe next time Case. Maybe next time. I have put them in the blender before and mixed with sour cream makes a pretty good dip. Sometimes you just have to think out of the box. lol

I don't think this would go with chilli but I've put Gorgonzola chunks inside of meatballs and with pasta and red sauce it's awesome!
