Makin' Smoke in Texas

Discussion in 'Roll Call' started by jaybird302, Oct 18, 2014.

  1. Hey all,
My name is Jay and my family and I live in the DFW area of North Texas. I built my own horizontal offset reverse flow smoker last year. The smoke chamber was made from a 60 gal air compressor if that gives you an idea on size. I can post a pic or 2 if anyone cares. Anyway, I love cooking on this monster and am always looking for new ideas. Thanks for taking the time to read this!

    Jay

Welcome to the board, Jay! Yep we will tease you if you don't post "qview" pics. Settle in and look around, there's a lot here including a lot of DIY builds.

  3. I'm a member over at smokerbuilder.com so I'm used to the qview harassment! Haha! I'll try and get a couple tomorrow when it's light out.

I'm running an offset stick burner, and having fun with it. It's easy to get hardwood for smoking around here.
