Hi guys! Setting here in Louisiana on a nice Sunday morning smoking a brisket with a little hickory/apple wood for a geathering of several females tonight here at the house the wife is having. Got a new Masterbilt trying brisket for the first time on it. Been an offset smoker all my life but the wife bought me this one so we will give it a try. Born and raised in Texas moved to Cajun land 30 years ago. I cook a wide range of stuff but like gumbo, beans,cornbread and BBQ cooking the best. Cook of large groups at work, 130ish, to small gatherings of friends here at the house. Love food, people and eating! So let's have fun and cook something! I cook in Camp Dutch Ovens as well.
