There was an appetizer I saw on here that was bacon wrapped sausage with rub and brown sugar on top. Anybody got an idea what it was
 
 
I tried this and it worked well.........

Precooked the bacon...  It shrinks and "tightens up" enough to make it easy to wrap... 350 for about 15 minutes.... works for me...

Great tip Dave and it works very well. I have also "warmed" it in my cast iron skillet prior to using it on pork shots and abts. Seems to crisp up better in the smoker after doing this.
