Trying to find a nice offset firebox smoker in Wisconsin.

Close to Madison if possible.

Colzane,

Are you looking for a new unit or a used one? How many folks do want to be able to feed at one time. Do you only have a few hundred dollars that you can spend or a couple of thousand?

These are the questions that you need answers for. Like anything else, smokers come in at types of sizes, different prices etc. On the low end for about $150.00+ you can get a Char-griller with a side fire box. It will last you a while but you will eventually replace it. You can find these and others like it at Home Depot, Lowes and some sporting goods stores like Cabela's, Bass Pro Shoppe and Gander Mt.

On the high end you have Lang, Klose and others that are high quality and will last you lifetime and those of your kids. These units even used will cost some big bucks. Check out the Pit Builder's list to find links to their websites. http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/for...ead.php?t=1476
