Looking for quick feedback

I have been shopping for a gas smoker when I came across this charcoal display at 50% off. That would make it $64.

I do not see a firebox option for this.

In my mind thats not really set up to be a smoker. You could make it work but it will do better as a grill for you. At that price I would grab it in a heart beat.

Hopefully someone mre familiar with it can come along and give you better news.

what vlap said..........thats a grill, not a real smoker...........but you CAN put a wood chip box on one side........cause you will need to cook/smoke with indirect heat.............other words.......no fire UNDER the meat........off to one side...........

I have smoked on something very similar..........Brinkmann Dual Zone.......left a hell of a lot to be desired as a smoker, but you can do it, just high maintenance.......work well as a grill.

Coincidently, I am in need of a new grill...the propane one is shot. Plus, I have xmas gift cards for walmart.

like i said, great buy. Make sure you get a cover, thin metal...
