Greetings all.

Firstly I'm a DIYer. If I can do it myself I will. Forth generation water well driller. We do all our own metalworking for the business. Weekend woodworker with a complete shop in my garage where everything is mobile so that i still get 2 cars in it. Built my own man cave and will soon be upgrading that myself again.

My first experience with smoking was with my brother in laws green mountain. One bite told me that this is where I needed to be rather than my gas grill. So I decided to build one which I'll get to ina party on my build.

I'm looking forward to picking brains and learning from those with hands on experience and adding my two cents where I can!

Hello and Welcome to our addiction.  A word of warning: There is no 12 step program for this one!  Many good folk here with a load of experience that they are more than willing to share.  If you have specific questions just start a thread and someone with experience will be along soon to offer advice.  All info you can provide us with such as smoker type, location and so on will help us answer any questions you may have.  Spend some time doing some research on the forums, tons of advice and recipes already available there.  We look forward to your contributions.  Have fun.  Good luck.  Keep Smokin!
