Leftover Pulled Pork idea

Not a major post by any means but thought I'd share.

Whenever I smoke major cuts of meats, I usually cook too much as we like to vacuum pack the leftovers for other meals.

Last night, we tried adding some pulled pork to red beans and rice. Man oh man was it ever good. They are both good by themselves but together, I couldn't stop eating it.

Nice idea, Abelman. I'm smoking 21# of butt today for pulled pork and will definitely have leftovers to try with.

Oh My Gawd that sounds awesome. What a great combo! Thanks for sharing, never thought to ldo that with my leftovers. I always just fry them up with potatoes and onions. I'm planning a pork smoke soon and will make sure to have enough for a pot of that.
