Maybe some of you can relate?......Our 13 year old boy plays on 2 (TWO) basketball teams (at the same time) & I pick him up from his school team & run him to the other team........I could quit right there but that is the start of the story......I DID NOT make it to the store to get a JD chub for a FATTY for my nights entertainment....... Mom was gone, I was home with a 13 year old (easy) & a 4 year old (tough) with nothing really to do. I had fresh hamburger in the fridge & figured that was going to be my FATTY for tonight.....I seasoned the hamburger really good with Chipotle & Jalepeno tabasco, Garlic seasoning, salt, pepper, Splenda, etc.

I had about 1.75# or so of hamburger, rolled it out, stuffed it with Bacon, cooked thinly sliced link sausage, Olives, Parmesan, Chedar & Motzarella chese.....................Smoked it for about 3 hours in the Big Chief with Alder chips (Not my favorite unless on fish) & finished it off on the Weber
grill @ 250* until it hit about 165* internal. I hit it with SWEET BABY RAYS for the final 30+- minutes on the grill...... I really liked it!....Kinda like a hamburger FATTY?....I would do it again!

Hey, Fishawn!

Did you add any sort of binder to keep the whole shebang together or did it stay in one piece all by itself? I am really impressed with your effort and have a few ideas starting to surface about similar experiments.

Excellent post!
Cheers!
