First let me say I am not a serious smoker. Used an older gas grill, put hickory or mesquite on the lava rocks, and low heat smoking. Works for me.
Why I am posting is my girlfriend's late husband never did things small. In smokers, he had 2 of the Willinghams smokers. The first was purchased in 88 and used some and the second was "specially made" for him in 89, brass plaque and all. According to the widow, it was never used except for firing it up to test. Both have sat in a barn for a couple of decades unused, collecting dust. I brought the 88 model home, cleaned it up some and it's solid of course. The cart it's on could use some help but the pneumatic tires are actually holding air. Needs to be sanded and painted. The smoker itself is complete and in real good condition.
I am posting this because over the next few weeks I plan to research the values of these smokers and avenues to sell. I saw where someone was asking $16K for one a few years ago for a W'ham version, which the 89 model is. Not sure about the 88 model as it has no identifying marks that I can find yet. Anyway I thought I would give the forum members a heads up that 2 Willinghams smokers will be available very soon. No good pictures yet but will soon.

EDIT; Located in SE AL and enjoy a number of local BBQ places and of course when we travel. Being retired we get to sample menus all around the country.
The 88 model was at the FL beach house a while and coastal environment is hostile.
