My name is Kathy, I have a 3 burner Grill Zone gas BBQ, I am a beginner when it comes to smoking things. I'm going to hopefully do some turkies this weekend. I have done a few chickens whole and pieces and they were great also turkey hindquarters.I live in Clarkston WA.
I hope to invest in a smoker some day soon just not sure what to be looking for [IMG] Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Welcome to SMF! This is a great place to learn about smoking. The folks are friendly and always ready to help out, so don't be shy about asking questions. Make yourself at home. We're glad you're here.

Btw, hope you make it through those nasty storms in the NW okay.

Welcome to SMF. Glad you found us. Read up on the different smokers in their respective sections. You might get an idea on what you want. Also, ask any questions you might have on the different kinds, in the section for that type.

Welcome Kathy to smf. As for smokers I started with the smoke-n-pit but added the GOSM gasser and am probably not done with buying yet. So I might not have the best advice on which type but I would like to have one of each.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
