Hey, My name is Joseph and I live in Honesdale, PA. It's about a half hour east of Scranton. I have been into home preserving and smoking meat now for like 4 or 5 years. I love the taste of smoked meat and dry curing fascinates me quite a bit. Have not had the chance to build my smoke house yet but I do use a charcoal brinks smoker, the cheap one. It works it's just hard to get it to stay over 150 degrees. I also use my grill for quick smoked tastes. I look forward to chatting with you guys and learning a lot.
