hello everyone, I bought and used jeffs rub last night on the grill, made some pork steaks. I brushed them with the mustard and then poured on the glaze, I let that sit in the fridge for about 3 hours. Had to use the grill because my smoker has not come in yet. (sucks) I cooked them on the grill with indirect heat with some jack daniels chips in a foil pouch for about 50 minutes until they were 150 dgrees. They were great!!!!

I am a skeptic so I wanted to try out the rub before I used it on my boston butt and spare ribs in case it sucked, I would'nt be out much,, but I loved it.

ALso, is there a link on the home page to post a new thread or do you have to go to a forum to get the link, I am new here and computer savvy ,I am not

love the sight hope you guys have a good day

Welcome to the SMF Krusher!! With all the good comments read on Jeff's rub and sauce I really didn't have a problem trying it. In fact, I used it for the first time when I smoked about 40lbs of butts for a church function and the sauce got great reviews!! Sometimes with all the good comments you set yourself up with extremely high expectations though.

Krusher, Welcome to the SMF. Glad you are here. Jeff's rub is great. Many have started with it and change as they want to. (I have still use it as is) I have not tried the sauce but have used the finishing sauce posted in the Pork section by a different Jeff (SoFlQuer). It is very good as well.

For new threads, just find the appropriate subject area in the forums first so it will be located properly.

Also, using the search function can be a hidden gold mine for answers to many questions but if you cannot find it just post up a question and folks are eager to help.
