Jalapeno Turkey Breasts

    Smoke number 2 from the weekend, our weather couldn't have been better.  This was a 5lb bone-in turkey breast.  I brined it overnight and then injected with Tony's jalapeno butter.  Then just a simple coating of S&P:


    Unfortunately I forgot pics on the smoker as things were coming off at slightly different times.   The WSM was full with the turkey, corn, jalapenos, and potatoes (had EVOO and a homemade rub on them).  Here is everything finished after the turkey rested for 20 minutes in double foil:


    Here is a quick sliced view of the turkey - beyond juicy!


    Plated view - time to eat!


    The rest will go into the slicer this evening for some smoked deli meat.  Thanks for looking and keep smokin!

    Thank you!  I took some of the leftover sliced turkey to work today for a sandwich lunch and it was great.  Now just gathering ideas for this weekend......
