I have ribs on the smoker and it started raining and I'm dropping temp real fast! Any suggestions?

Got an old moving blanket? Or small old cloth tarp? Put it over the smoking chamber but not the fire box section. Keep an eye on the blanket to make sure it does not start to smother (aka catch on fire). Add more fuel and open the damper so it builds up more heat.

Seen on pit masters.

Make sure it isn't a blanket made with polyester - polyester melts and smells nasty! But anything made with wool or 100% cotton should do well, also canvas tarps work good to.

It really depends on what kind of smoker that you have ? If it's a smaller smoker like most of the foks here have then it's like Al said. Umbrella and a few beers. Ten if you have a bigger smoker maybe a big thick metaled Lang or something like that. I would recommend you to smoke on and it will just take alittle bit longer.

Your lucky you don't live in the seattle area its always raining here like what Al said Umbrella in ! hand and a beer in the other for me I have a Umbrella hat so I can hold 2 beers...........lol
