Hey guys, sorry if this has already been brought up, but I couldn't find a difinitive answer: Is the GOSM smoker listed here http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/st...006000_750-6-1
the new version of the big block? I've got the wide body and while happy w/ it, I wanted the big block but couldn't find one since they were being produced anymore. My plan was to build a stick burner this summer (got a nice tax return this year, and was going to buy a welder for the project) but I'm taking a full load of classes this summer while working and have a family, so my time to build is strapped. So the wife has given me the green light to go through w/ this purchase if its what I want.

I was at Bass Pro yesterday and was looking at the smokers. The one they had on display was the same as the Big Block that I have. The only difference was on the upper left corner of the door it had a name plate
LANDMANN. Mine does not have this, I bought mine last spring from Bass Pro. From what I could tell there was no difference in construction or layout from mine. I love mine. Hope this helps.

Well, looks like I'm gettin a big block! Also talked the Mrs. into a UDS build. Looks like the welder will have to wait until next year......or will it
