  1. I have been sitting here trying to come up with something different then I thought, "why not try injecting a tri-tip with a garlic marinade before smoking it." Sounds like like it might be good!! Does anybody have any tips before I try this??

    Sounds like a great plan to me!! I often use Cajun Injector brand Garlic and Herb or make up my own

    Lets see, garlic and beef, then smoke. Don't see how you can miss with this one!

    How hi do you plan on takeing your tri-tip to, internal?
    Useally they are taken to 130-135*, mediem rare, you may be better off just brushing it on after you slice it, if you think it is needed.
