New memeber, new to smokin' meat, love a good rack a ribs and pulled pork Eastern Carolina style...I just purchased my first smoker the good ole' SnP. Working on my mods now and hopefully I can teach myself, with some help of course, and move on to a bigger, better smoker. My first attempt at ribs didn't turn out all that well, but wasn't too bad for first try. Looking forward to participating in the discussions!!

First off welcome to SMF. You'll like it here cause there are alot of good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smokin. I think you should look up the E-course it's free and very informative and will give you the basics of smoking. Then just go smoke something and if you have any questions just post them here or go to the chat and someone here will answer it for you if a jiffy. Then you need to go to the tutoral on posting pictures (Qview)

Here's a link to it. Then run don't walk and grab something to smoke cause:
Welcome To The Addiction.

Thank you! Yes, I have seen the Qview already and it should come with a warning...will seriously make you want to eat a whole pig...Labor Day weekend so I plan to smoke a few things and will definitely get in on posting the Qview. Thanks again!

Welcome, Glad to have you with us. This is the place to learn, lots of good info and helpful friendly Members.

Be sure to check out Jeff's 5 Day Smoking Basics eCourse, you can find it here it's "FREE"...5 Day e Course

Everyone here enjoys seeing the qview so be sure to post plenty of pics... Large ones that us old people with bad eyes can see.

When you uploading to photobucket I always use the Large img setting, 640 x 480 it is a nice size...

Welcome to SMF!! I’m so happy you decided to join us.
