My name is Tom and I am a noobie to smoking.  I have BBQed (grilling for many yrs).  52 yrs old and ready to learn from y'all.  My wife Rhonda loves the way I cook.  So I am here to learn from the best.  I bought a MES 40" and have smoked chichen and ribs so far.  With good results. I have been reading may posts on the forum.  One that I need help with is the foil or tile over the smoke pot to distribute the heat even.

Things we like to do, are drive my corvette, metal detect on the beach.  The vett is a Z06, race lowered, dyno tuned, 0-60 3.7 sec and the 1/4 in 12.5 at 117 mph, it is a beast and lots of fun to drive.

We have four granddaughters, they are all Princesses in my eyes...

Well, that is a start for now,  hope to hear and learn from y'all.
