I have a orange tree that I would like to cut down. It doesn't produce that good of oranges, so its just taking up yard space. If I cut down the tree, how do I store the wood to properly season it, so that I can cut it into chunks to use when smoking later on?

Thanks.

Stack it off of the ground, keep it covered in a dry, breezy place and wait 6 to 8 month's!!
