I would say at least 50 pounds.

That taking home thing is a big help!

If you make a little too much, they can take a little more home, plus you can freeze some for yourself.

I would be inclined to make that 55 or 60 pounds, but then I'm a PP Hog. I could eat 3 Pork BBQs before I was a teenager, and my brother used to pick on me for being skinny !!

My rule of thumb is a half pound per person... ur gonna have people who won't eat near that much.. and then u will have people who eat double that... for 150 people, depending on how many children made up the 150, I wouldn't prepare any less than 7-8 10 lb butts... remember, you can NEVER make too much pork... but if u don't make enough, its not something u can whip up real quick... and u can freeze the leftovers and use later on..

60lbs or pork at a minimal. I would do 70 to be on the safe side and if you have leftovers its a bonus.

First of all you can plan on loosing between 30 - 40 % of the original weight. Are you doing sandwiches or plates?  If doing sandwiches you can figure 3-4 oz per sandwich. If doing plates you should figure 8 oz per plate. So for 150 you need to multiply by one of the two factors as the net weight. you can do the math to figure out the raw weight.

Let me know if I can help
