HI everyone.  I am Paul from West Newfield, Maine.

I have grill-smoked in the past, but wanted something that was easier to control without constant monitoring.  So, I recently purchased a Masterbuilt 30" electric smoker.  I christened it with a couple of racks of baby backs which were out of this world.  My wife liked them so much that I had to make them again the following weekend.

Lots of plans to smoke lots of things in the coming weeks.  Looking forward to ideas, tips, recipes, etc.  as well as meeting other smokers.

Light 'em up (or in my case, plug it in) folks!

Welcome BubbaPaul!

I have been making lobstah rolls the past few weekends and I am thinking of doing some smoked lobstah for them next. I am doing some shrimp rolls today as lobstah is harder to get here in Vegas. I also use a MES 30" , mine is analog. I was so new to this a year ago I just bought it when it was on sale. Wish I would have got the Gen 1 40 " now after all the use I have on the 30". I have started a new smoker fund to get a new one.

My wife and I were talking about smoking lobster sometime soon.  Let me know how it works out!
