My name is Hickenk.  I live in Loris, SC.  I recently found your forum and decided to join.  I have been smoking meats for about 20 years.  I first learned in South Texas.  I especially like to smoke brisket.  I cook on a homemade horizontal smoker.  The one in my avatar.  I first built this smoker 15 years ago.  I just finished a complete rebuild last month.  I am looking forward to participating in your community.  Let's cook!

Hickenk,
Welcome, from southern Ohio, to the best forum on the internet if you are looking to learn how to BBQ/smoke/brine/cure/inject. Well you get the picture if you can do it to to something you put on a plate to eat then someone here has probably done it. Use the search bar at the top of the page and you will be led to the answer to most every question you can think of. If you don't find the answer there then just post it and someone will chime in with there opinion on the subject.
Even with twenty years experance I am sure you can learn a few new tricks here and maybe you will share a few of your own!!
Again Welcome!!
