I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.
I was a city girl my whole life up until 3 years ago, when I moved to the Appalachian mountain region in the tri-state area of NC/TN/GA where I bought a farm.
I raise Black Angus, Berskshires, Nubians and have a collection of Buff Orpingtons and several hives. My beloved Kangal and Anatolian livestock guardian dogs protect the 'family' and I find myself working harder than I ever have in my life lol.
I recently bought a BGE as it get close to piggy heaven around here so that I could smoke various things. I have a chef background and my philosophy has always been if someone can do something with food, I can do it better.
So, I'm about to branch out further into the smoking world, and want to thank everyone here for taking the time to compile a vast array of knowledge and experience. When I was researching smoking, I came across y'alls forum and have been reading voraciously ever since. That has produced a few questions, so here I am.
Anyway, that's a little about me, and I look forward to getting to know everyone better.
Shad.
