We bought our first smoker last weekend, we have grilled for decades, 365 days a year! We bought the Junior Charbroil Smoker- son is a chef and loves to experiment with flavors!!!

Welcome to the site and congratulations on your new smoker.  I would probably eat way too much if I had a family member who was a trained chef but I'll bet it would be a lot of fun.

Keep us posted on you and your sons projects.

Welcome to the site, Shasha! You will have a blast with a smoker. "Smoking" meat or other things will be a new learning experience for y'all.

"Amateur Chef" type stuff........

For example, I love to do smoked garlic when I am smoking some meat. Easy to prepare, and when ready, you just snip the ends of the cloves and squeeze out the garlic like toothpaste onto buttered warm fresh loaf bread, preferably sourdough! Yummy!

Smoked boloney (bologna, if you prefer) is a rather tasty treat too as a snack during a long cook, as it only takes 2-3 hours to cook a 1-1/2 to 2 pound chunk of it. Prep is a bit more complicated though. Lemme know if you want instructions sometime.
