Just plugged her in and set temp for 275 for 3hrs and its up to 166 and smokeing all the oil and bad stuff out of the unit.

Last 45min I have some chips to add till the end.

This site has made me more hungry then ever for smoke goods. Great people, and great ideas.

Next few purchases will be some smoken goods for sure as well as a good oven threm, and the AMAZN.
 
I will be sure to take progress pics.

As for being in NY the weather is up and down. Did a full season yesterday. Today rain/snow, to many new years plans to start this weekend and next week highs in the teens.

I would recommend maybe s chicken is a good smoke an pretty easy to.
 
Being a beginner smoker brats were my first try. These we pretty easy and were great. I did my fourth attempt on baby backs last night. My first three attempts on ribs weren't bad but last night's ribs were the best ribs I have ever had.
