here we go a test run for the comp

    I will be in the Silver Lake BBQ backyard competition next Friday.

    I have been lax @ the Q-view so I will document my test run for today.

    Rubbed the ribs shortly after 8AM now I am getting set to go[​IMG]

    Look's like a good start, doin spare's? Cut em st. louis style for the comp, by your pic's, look's like u already have, curious what your doing for your chicken entry?? Keep up with the pic's and if you need a judge.........i'm 15 minutes away!![​IMG]

    There is only 3 of use eating so I have enough for you.

    Would be there in about 3 hrs, but alas, it is such a fine day in southeastern Michigan, I just put a chuck roast on the weber for a small smoke today. Lookin forward to meetin ya before or after the comp!

    Like I told crewdawg only 3 of us here to eat 4 racks c'mon over

    In the backyard wings is the only chicken entry[​IMG] so I'll be doing wings.

    Got 2 pkgs @ Meijer last week dated sell by 8-30 & 8-31, the 8/31 were smoked last week cause we opened the 8/30 & [​IMG][​IMG] they were bad. No wings this time but I think I got a handle on 'em

    Thanks I'll keep trying till I get it right.

    We live in the flight path for Areo Med to Lakeshore Community Hospital & most flight involve injuries in the Silver Lake Sand dunes. Must have been an injury cause AreoMed just flew over a few minutes ago[​IMG]

    I'll bring some extra to the Silver Lake comp. How many sticks you want[​IMG] I got a Cherry farmer that will let me cut as much as I want when he takes out trees
