help with abt's holder

Has anyone tried making a holder from aluminum 1/8'' thick. Does aluminum warp? Is it safe to use? Please help thanks

Aluminum is ok yo use .

 fold the ends to make a stand and drill 3/4 " holes.

Eman has it down. Thanks Eman. I have a couple made from Stainless in the same manor. That is the only way to make a perfect ABT. I have made them with everything you can imagine. But my favorite is stuffed Habanaros. Good luck and aluminim is just fine my friend. Again. Glad to have you in the family

Yes, 1/8" thick aluminium will work fine. With that thickness you'll have no problem with warping.

I was gonna buy one but they wanted 20 bucks to hold 18

Nice!  Just picked up a Weber one at Wally World that only holds 12 for $6.  Wish I had a shop and welding skills!! lol
