The taste was good. I was all out of wood chunks and all I had was the Jack Daniel's wood chips. They had a strong J.D. smell when I opened the bag but I didn't notice a difference on the flavor of the meat. Anybody else ever use these J.D. chips?

That's a really good looking brisket. They can certainly be nerve racking sometimes but as posted through out here, patience is the word. Keep the temp under control and the smoke on the thin blue side and you can't go wrong. By the way, what's the yellow on the side of the sandwich. Eggs?
