Hello ,I'm Jay from Buffalo,NY. I am a newbie to smoking, today I purchased the 7-in 1 Cabelas cooker, after reading the reviews it looked like a good starter get-up. I was stationed in Fort Hood,Texas until I got out of the Army last year, and it was in Texas where I discovered the beauty of smoked meat. I am typing this from a boat in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico, where I work in the oilfields as an ROV Pilot. Cant wait to get home to start experimenting with my smoker!. I look forward to doing brisket, chicken,ribs, fresh caught trout ,and whatever else I can put on it! I imagine this is the beginning of a obsessive hobby, and I cant wait to dive into it.
