A couple of years ago I built a grill out of my 20 gallon Craftsman Air Compressor (Engine came apart), so I used the tank...it has been great.  I found a 60 gallon air tank and wanted to make a smoker taking into account some of the issues I have had with my 20 gallon grill.   My goal is create a smoker, with research and design that will work for me.

Welcome to SMF sttimmerma!  Lots of folks here are smoker builders so just ask any question you might have.  Looking forward to seeing your finished build and that first inaugural smoke.

Have fun!
