Finally joined the site after links to the forum are usually at the top of the list when I google different bbq topics. I just recently started smoking in Charlotte, NC area on a 40" Masterbuilt electric smoker. I built a vertical barrel smoker a couple years ago that I used twice, once on a boston butt and once on a Thanksgiving turkey 2 days later. I found it just to much of a burden trying to regulate the temperature. Anyways, I look forward to reading the forum and learning new tips and recipes. I saw a recipe on here for twice smoked potatoes on here and they have the side of choice every time I bbq!
