I joined here based on a recommendation from a friend.  I am still a rookie smoker and looking to gain some knowledge.  I have a Chargriller Duo with the side smoke box and love it.  Looking back, I should have skipped the propane side as I haven't used it in a long time.  It is nice having the side burner to light my chimneys though.  I plan on picking up vertical smoker, or building a BUDS.  I am pretty happy with the way my baby backs turn out, as well as country style ribs.  I have done a few pork shoulders with limited success.  I look forward to picking your brains.

The 3-2-1 method is awesome. Season with your favorite rub over mustard then over night in the frig. Add brown sugar to the ribs in the morning, then, three hours smoke, two hours foiled with apple juice and rum, I use Captain Morgan spiced, then take the foil off and 1 more hour on the grill and mop if you like it that way or spray with apple juice. Retain the juice from the foil for mopping or on the table.....

...You can google the 3-2-1 method or find it on this forum...Then eat dem-ribs.....
