.....yup, that's right.....a yankee! lmao. Not in the baseball sense either. I've been a watcher for some time now and decided to finally register and start getting some tips and pointers from everyone who has been there and done that!

Believe it or not, where I grew up we called anyone with an accent a Yankee. I'm only 54 years old, but in the deep, secluded South (Swainsboro, GA), we didn't meet too many people who weren't from around here when I was a kid. I had some cousins who grew up in Seattle that came to visit when I was about 10, and all my friends asked them when they heard them speak, "Are y'all from New York?" It was really funny to hear the New York accents on the nightly news. Y'all talk so funny!

I'm worldly now. I've been to most States, and too many countries to remember during my 20 years in the Navy. So, welcome Yankee! This is a great forum, there are no Yankees, Rebels, or Foreigners here, only Smokers. Oh, and Monkeys

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
