hi, just wanted to check in and say hi.

im attempting my first fattie and for the life of cant find what temp i should smoke it at. ive found lots of stuff for constuction but nothing on smoking proceedures!! thanks any advice apreciated!!
 
First off welcome to SMF shaker. Could you please stop into Roll Call and introduce yourself and let us know about you and your equipment. Ok to your question I smoke most of the meat at 230-250° and let it go from there. I hope you know about the camera thing we like here to called Qview. Yes we take pictures of our food here and your wife will make fun of you. I guess it's a test to see if you have what it takes by be a part of SMF. Good Luck and happy smoking.
 
ok i will on the roll call. i will post up my first fattie attempt, i'm used to my wife making fun of me with stuff like that. i'm a member over at the r1 forum and post up pics often. she just shakes her head. thanks for the response!!
