Hello all. I live in Lashburn, SK, about 8 hours straight north of the 49th parallel, on the Alberta/Sask border. I enjoy racing, motorbikes, off-roading and hiding out in my garage. Thought I should finally find a forum on smoke and start to sharpen my novice skills. Nothing beats a forum for great info. I have been cooking this way off and on for about a year. In the last few months I have really stepped it up and been doing it way more often, to the liking of my family and friends. I own a propane Weber Genesis grill that I use to smoke with, besides regular bbq duties. I have been trying to convince the better half to allow a Traeger in the backyard...I think I am getting closer As far as what I smoke, I enjoy combining rotisserie and smoke. I make my own rubs and sauces as well. I cook the usual meats as well as moose, deer, elk and want to try game bird and fish. See you all later.
