Hello from Santa Maria, CA

Hey guys, I have been a member for a while, but haven't really posted anything lately.  I have a few questions to ask about a smoker design that I am thinking about starting t owork on so I figure I would reintroduce myself.

I live in Santa Maria California.  I have been using a Smoke Hollow cabinet water smoker for about a year and a half now.  I am having a lot of fun with it and have whipped up some rally good Q.  Pulled pork and tri-tip are my best and favorites so far.  I have done some pretty creative fattys, which are an insane invention I might add.  Still working of my baby back ribs.  The last couple of times have kind of fallen apart on me.  I guess I just need to practice a little more

Anyways thanks for all of the good information I have gotten from this site for the last year or two and I look forward to interacting with you guys a little more.

I used to live in Santa Barbara.....you guys in SM know your bar-b-que. My son's on his way down to visit Disneyland with the kids and will stop at SB for a vist.....so, I sez....'bring me back a bag or two of those Santa Maria red beans'...lol. Love those.....Willie

Chef Willie, I do like the pinquito beans, with my tri-tip. If your son is rolling through town and wants to pick some up, strangely the best place I have found to get them is Von's Supermarket. The one on Broadway. Most other places don't have them.
