Hello from Pine Mountain Club, CA

I have done a little smoking but I am very much a beginner looking for all of the info and help I can get.
I live in PMC Cali, I am in the AF. I have done a little smoking of meats small stuff mostly in home made smokers. I guess i never really took it that serious till i thought about smoking a turkey this summer and bought a Brinkman. and discovered how uneven the heat is.
So I am sure there is a thread on here about that so again hello and point me in the right direction!!!! Please
