Hello, I have been lurking for awhile, and thought it was time to meet everyone. Great site with lots of info, you can learn alot from you guys/gals. I started with a ECB, and have been adding to my lineup from there.

I now have a Weber 22 1/2" kettle, Masterbuilt 7 in 1, GOSM, homemade Barrel BBQ, Great Outdoors Grill, homemade Tandoori Oven, plus a few other odds and ends.

I will be using the Barrel today and will post on that soon.

Welcome to the SMF. Looks like you have all the fire power you'll need, and then some.

Here is a site that explains what a Tandoor is.
http://bbq.about.com/od/regionalande.../aa012205a.htm

It is mostly used for lamb, chicken, and naan bread, cooks at high heat using the direct heat from the coals and the radiant heat off the clay liner. The high heat helps to seal in the juices. Took me about 35 min. to cook 2 chickens, I could have taken them off in 30 minutes.

Here is the site I used to build mine.
