hello from NJ

    hey everyone...just found this site and been reading for 2 hrs!! lots of great stuff and pics on here. i'm from NJ and smoke sausage as much as i can..i converted an old freezer into a smoker and when my house gets built i plan on building a permanent smokehouse...looking forward towards your ideas. heres a pic of my smoker

    Welcome to SMF !!!
    The keilbasa looks great, but I am more admiring your cart set up for the smoker with the propane tank mounted to it. You have me thinking about converting mine..... What's in the bucket, wood chips and chunks?

    thanks....i use the bucket for woodchips..for the most part i smoke hickory. i got the burner from www.gassmoker.com..the "afterburner".there's alot of info and pics for a fridge conversion on this this site. i love this smoker it holds a steady temp, and only cost about 300-400 bucks...could of been cheaper but put some extras on it. i smoked 100# venison summer last week and still had room in there for another 75lbs.
